Japanese Games Giant GREE Buys Minority Stake In Dutch Chat Startup eBuddy

GREE, the Japanese mobile gaming giant, has continued its global investment spree, buying a minority stake in eBuddy, an Amsterdam, Netherlands-based web chat startup. In an email to TechCrunch, eBuddy co-founder Jan-Joost Rueb declined to confirm or deny the value of the investment, rumored at around $20 million.
