The Palm Beach County School District's Community Education Program has added, the book Building a Successful Business by Jay Goldberg as a textbook for the course How to Start, Grow and Manage a Business.

The course covers business plans and management skills to help new and existing entrepreneurs succeed in their business endeavors. ?The book contains information that is used for lectures, provides tips to help the participants successfully complete the tools taught in class, and has worksheets that make implementing the tools easier.

Topics in the course and the book include business plans, strategic planning, advertising, branding, using social media for business purposes, project management, customer service management, business writing, cash flow management and more.

Currently, the course is primarily taught at Jupiter High School at night. ?The goal, however, is to expand the locations where the course will be taught.
