BOULDER, Colo., Sept. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --?Chautauqua Capital Management, a long only equity institutional investment management firm, announced today that David Lubchenco has joined the firm as Partner.
Mr. Lubchenco will be responsible for client development and service for the Chautauqua International Growth Equity strategy and the Chautauqua Global Growth Equity strategy.? He will report to Brian Beitner, CFA, Founder and Managing Partner of Chautauqua Capital Management.

Mr. Lubchenco has more than 20 years of experience having also worked at Transamerica Investment Management, Janus Capital and Founders Asset Management.? He holds a BA from Colorado College and an MBA from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver.?

David's appointment follows the naming of Doug Rao to a new role of Co-Portfolio Manager at Chautauqua Capital on August 14.? Mr. Rao is the former Portfolio Manager of the Marsico Flexible Capital Fund, which earned a 5-star rating by Morningstar, Inc. and was ranked in the 1st percentile by Lipper, Inc. for performance over the last 3 and 5 years that he managed the fund.
